Giga-tronics Incorporated produces instruments, sub-systems and sophisticated microwave components that have broad applications in both commercial and military wireless telecommunications systems.

Giga-tronics Incorporated consists of three separate operating units:

Gigatronics Main Office
Instrument Division

Produces microwave frequency synthesizers, signal sources, generators, sweepers and power measurement instruments in benchtop and VXI configurations for use in cellular, PCS, radar, satellite and telecommunication systems test and measurement applications. A number of different models and options are offered allowing customers to select specialized capabilities, frequency range, features and functions.

Ascor Division Office
Ascor Division

Designs and manufactures a complete line of Optical, VXI, PXI and GPIB switching products that range from DC to 26.5 GHz, M Modules for instrumentation and Digital Modules for terrestrial and satellite related communications, military flight systems, industrial, medical and scientific automatic test applications. ASCOR's PXI and CompactPCI products provide the same high quality, low noise designs that have made ASCOR switch products the industry benchmark in VXI. All of ASCOR's switch products are the quietest, cleanest, highest density switches and modules available. ASCOR is the quickest paper-to-product solution provider in the modular Test and Measurement business. ASCOR features world-class engineering support regardless of interface platform.

MSI Division Office
Microsource Division

Designs and manufactures microwave sub-systems, frequency synthesizer modules, and YIG (Yttrium/Iron/Garnet) based oscillator and filter components. Products are available as either standard or custom applications, and are used in aerospace/defense, test and measurement, communications and other related industries. The Division is AS9100/ISO9001:2000 certified, and is a Defense Security Service (DSS) approved facility for Department of Defense classified contracts.
