Customer Chooses Giga-tronics for ATE to reduce calibration time from hours to minutes
In many microwave ATE systems a calibration must be completed of all the paths the signal will pass through before the device is tested. This ensures a flat response at the input to the device under test. Some devices need many thousands of points to be calibrated. Our customer chose a Giga-tronics microwave signal generator because of the speed to perform this calibration. Until the Giga-tronics 2540A was used, the customer had performed this calibration over night due to the number of hours it took. With the Giga-tronics solution the calibration time was significantly reduced and what took ten hours now took less than an hour. Read more »
